New Launches in District 8

No new launch in District 8 has units available at the moment.

Little India was gazetted as a conservation area in July 1989, with parts of Desker Road, Syed Alwi Road and Jalan Besar following over the next two decades — which is why the streets between Serangoon Road, Sungei Road and Jalan Besar still look as they do. Little India station joins the North East and Downtown lines, with Jalan Besar and Rochor also on the Downtown Line; Mustafa Centre, City Square Mall and Farrer Park Hospital are the landmarks. Conservation leaves little room for new condominium sites, so almost all the housing here is shophouses and older blocks.
