The Rapid Transit System link to Johor Bahru runs from Woodlands North to Bukit Chagar in about five minutes and is built to carry up to 10,000 passengers an hour in each direction, with passenger service targeted for the end of 2026. Woodlands North is already on the Thomson-East Coast Line, so the crossing plugs straight into the island’s rail network. For anyone whose work or family sits on both sides of the Causeway, that is the argument for this district.
